A Family Trip to the Zoo

Monday the three of us headed to Madison to the zoo for the day! The rain held off and it ended up being a nice and warm day. It was tempting to jump in and swim with the seals! Mikayla kept saying "upsidedown" as the seals would swim on their backs through the water.

Do you believe it? These Polar Bears are potty trained! They back up and pee off the edge of the rocks, then run along. It was too funny watching them! And the Rhinos: if they new we were coming they would have taken a bath.....

The Prairie Dogs were Mikayla's most favorite animal to watch. We all found fasination in how they would burry down in the dirt and create tunnels, then run through them really fast. They were having fun entertaining us! Mikayla and Daddy rode on the carousel together. She picked out the monkey to ride, on of course!
Mommy and Mikayla got to ride on the zoo train together. A short tour was given of the zoo. It was a very cute train! The Giraffes, aren't they amazing creatures?! There were two of them. This one was checking out Mikayla's Curious George treats!
