Today was absolutely gorgeous! So Mikayla and I spent most of the morning outside. She played basketball, and in her playhouse, while mommy mowed the grass.

It's official, the pool season is over! Daddy and Mikayla took down the pool yesterday, and started putting it away for next year. We also picked the pumpkins in the front yard and set them on the steps to finish ripening. I have been in the mod to decorate for fall. We have been eating a lot of apple crisp here. Mikayla and I went to the local apple orchard last week and got a peck of apples. It was enough to make 3 big pans of crisp, and boy was it good! Nick has been working on the haunted house with his brother again this year. Those two really enjoy it. Nick is trying to get me into it also, but I just get too spooked out by that stuff! Well enjoy the last week of summer!
