Saturday was Homecoming so I worked making the girls beautiful. Afterwards was our 1st annual Block Party. We went about 6:00, just in time to eat and listen to the great live band that was playing. The band was called Backwater, and they played the oldies and the goodies. Mikayla was the star of the show, she stood front and center for a long time just watching the band perform. They enjoyed her company as well!

The next morning I asked Mikayla if she wanted to go for a ride to get some more paint, and she hopped in the front seat.....................
And were still putting the finishing touches on the house! Here's a before.................
And here's one with the shutters up......we are still adding to it. Today we painted the mailbox and house numbers, and I went and got some decor. It's starting to come together! Ahhh, the joys of home ownership!

I love it, the house looks many years newer. Is Mikayla going to become a groupie?
