Laboring on Labor Day weekend- an annual Gilberts thing!

Thursday night before heading to bed...we tore part of the tub surround off to see what we were going to get ourselves into over the weekend....it wasn't as bad as we thought...always a good thing! So Friday morning Nick started to tear things apart to put in a new shower surround. We are planning on finishing the whole bathroom when we re-roof. Then we will be able to tear down the chimney also to make our tiny bathroom just a tad bigger


The pool season is over...Mikayla and daddy raking to plant grass seed....


Monday we went to see Great Grandpa and Grandma K. We took food for a Labor Day cookout.This is Grandpa's home grown watermelon...best we ever ate!

On the way home we stopped at Blackhawk park to stretch and slide....

Back to school and work on Tuesday for us...we are still putting the finishing touches on the bathroom. Mikayla is loving school and is easily making friends. She is easily getting into the routine...this morning she woke me up when MY alarm rang. Last week I was waking her up!
